On October 16 and 17, 2022, GASTRO SUMMIT Essen will be held together with FOODSpecial in Halls 7 and 8 of Messe Essen. Both events will thus bring the bundled competence for gastronomy, the hotel industry and communal catering to NRW.
The GASTRO SUMMIT was held for the first time in 2016 and now delivers products, solutions and trends for gastronomy, the hotel industry and communal catering as well as for food trucks, snack and food service operations every two years. This year, GASTRO SUMMIT Essen is cooperating for the first time with the FOODSpecial trade fair of the Service-Bund.
With around 100 exhibitors, the FOODSpecial primarily supplies offers from the "Food and Beverage" sector and thus brings the bundled food competence to Essen. The GASTRO SUMMIT, with its likewise around 100 exhibitors, primarily covers the focal areas of "furnishings and equipment" for the catering and hotel industry and presents digital solutions as well as current trend topics of the industry. Both trade fairs act as a joint event and are open to all trade fair visitors.
